Love is a big deal

After an over-excited Skype conversation with my new engaged friend Kat, I jumped onto a gorgeous wedding site (a personal favourite) - EatDrinkChic and discovered the beautiful photography of Jonas Peterson. Oh my heart is now all a flutter...

Memories of India

Seeing Delhi on the news and having a few friends visit India of late inspired me to revised photos of my own trip in 2007.  You can see more photos on my FlickR site.

Inspiration for today...

"Grounding is caring for the tender, human being that is you so that you can thrive. It includes self-care, structure (loving boundaries), rhythms and routines.

If you were to plant a garden, you would give it water, nourishing soil, some compost or fertilizer, sunlight and fresh air. This is self-care.

You may keep the plants in a greenhouse when the weather’s cold. Or you may put a cage around a tomato to help it grow. This is structure. You would water your garden, rake and weed at regular intervals. This is routine.
You would appreciate that your garden goes through cycles of growth, rest, and harvest. This is rhythm.

These facets work together to grow a healthy garden. They work together to grow you, as well."
