Armed with my Wonderwarm blanky and a bottle of delicious Rose, I accompanied a hoard of fellow Wellingtonians to the see The Woolshed Sessions at the Dell last night. I was lulled by the gentle harmonies and light, delicate guitars - a lovely way to spend an overcast, but warm Welly evening. The Woolshed Sessions were in their element in this setting and enveloped their happy and content audience in a warm toasty glow. The album is great too!

Yummy breakfast...
Quinoa Infused with Coconut
1 cup coconut milk
1 cup quinoa
2 tablespoons coconut (organic coconut flakes)
1/4 teaspoon seasalt
1 tablespoon of pure maple syrup (if you have a sweet tooth)
Bring coconut milk and salt to the boil, add quinoa, coconut and maple syrup. Simmer with lid on for 20 minutes, stirring occassionally.
Steam for a further 5 minutes without lid.
Fluff with a fork.
Best served cold with fresh pineapple and banana and maybe a dash of rice milk.
